Product Overview
The 1769-IM12 is a Compact I/O module that has Twelve (12) input channels use to interface signaling devices that provides 200 / 240 VAC signals. It has a single group of inputs with internally connected commons. This module can be used to receive signals from switches, auxiliary contacts, sensors and other electrical and switching devices operating in binary or On and OFF state.
The 1769-IM12 is compatible for use with MicroLogix 1500 and CompactLogix controllers or 1769 adapters such as 1769-ADN, DeviceNet module and 1769-AENTR module, redundant Ethernet module. If used with MicroLogix 1500, RSLogix 500 is required to configure the software while RSLogix5000 programming software if used with CompactLogix controllers.
The power supply distance rating of 1769-IM12 is 8 modules. It can be used with 1769-PA2, 1769-PB2, 1769-PA4 and 1769-PB4 power supplies. If more than 8 installation of 1769-IM12 is required, an I/O power supply will be required to maintain a valid configuration. In a MicroLogix 1500 controller, the module is installed after the base module or to any Compact I/O module after the base module.
The module can be mounted on a 35 X 75 or 35 X 15 mm DIN rail or directly to the mounting plate of an enclosure. The module is -UL certified (under CSA C22.2 No. 142) UL 508 listed Class I, Division 2 Group A,B,C,D Hazardous Locations (UL 1604, C-UL under CSA C22.2 No. 213), CE compliant for all applicable directives and Australian Radiocommunications Act, compliant with AS/NZS CISPR 11; Industrial Enclosure. VIIIVThe 1769-IM12 is a 12 channel Compact AC input module for voltage range 200 / 240 VAC. This module is compatible for use with CompactLogix chassis or MicroLogix 1500.
