The 1769-IQ32T is a Programmable Logic Controller (PLC) I/O module used in interfacing field instruments that provides 24VDC voltage signals. This module is compatible for use with Allen Bradley products such as MicroLogix 1500, 1769 CompactLogix family of controllers. It may also be installed in adapters such as 1769-ADN DeviceNet adapter and 1769-AENTR Ethernet.
This compact I/O module has Thirty-Two (32) input channels capable of receiving 24VDC input signals. This module is shipped with a 40 pin female connector (1746-N3). This pre-fabricated cable directly lathes to the module front-panel while the other end may be attached to a remote terminal block or cut to have open leads. This minimizes termination and human error during termination activity. The Allen Bradley 1492 wiring systems may also be used with this module.
Four (4) input groups, each group having an 8 input channels are integrated in the module. The input can be wired in Sinking or Sourcing wiring configuration.
Sinking and sourcing inputs refer to the current flow from the field device to the module. When wiring sinking inputs, connect the incoming DC common of the incoming signals to the DC COM terminal of the module. For sourcing configuration, terminate the (V+) of the incoming signals to the DC COM of the 1769-IQ32T module.
