Product Overview
The 1769-L23E-QB1B belongs to the CompactLogix 5370 controllers. This controller is a packaged controller that features a built-in power supply, One (1) Ethernet and (1) Serial communication port. The embedded power supply accepts nominal voltage of 24VDC.
The RS232 communication port supports ASCII, DH485 or DF1 communication protocol. This channel is a fully isolated channel that supports maximum transmission speed of 38.4 kbps while the Ethernet communication port supports linear topology.
Up to Eight (8) TCP connections can be made with this controller at once. Valid TCP connections include a programming workstation, a Human Machine Interface (HMI) device, A Supervisory Control and Data Acquisition (SCADA), Ethernet communication adapter and a field device. This controller also has supports use of Proportional - Integral - Derivative Enhanced (PIDE) instruction including the autotune subfeature.
The controller has an integrated 512 Kbytes of memory. It also has integrated Sixteen (16) 24VDC sinking or sourcing inputs with operating voltage range of 10 to 30V DC @ 30 °C (86 °F) 10 to 26.4V DC @ 60 °C (140 °F). The embedded output has Sixteen (16) channels of 24VDC sourcing outputs with operating voltage range of 20.4 to 26.4V DC. The controller also supports High Speed outputs with operating voltage range of 5 to 30 VDC and frequency of 250 kHz.
The controller supports IEC 61131-3 programming language which includes Relay Ladder, Structured Text, Function Block and Sequential Function Chart (SFC).
Use RSLogix5000 to create and download user program for this processor. Data files are accessible through the software via drag and drop or data file selection. The controller support tag-based and alias addressing.
