Multi-project configuration allows multiple project stored and executed on the terminal. This may be implemented with applications that has typical communication requirements. Applications run by the terminal may be changed with the use of the embedded terminal configuration mode menu.

Alarm handling is implemented by utilizing the active and historical alarm list capability of the terminal. These components are accessed and configure using the development software and executed by the terminal during the integrated runtime environment.

The 2711-B5A3 supports 46 different language that can be activated by simple language switching in the configuration mode menu or via the ATA PC memory card.

Screen security feature enables controlled access to a specific screen by invoking password and username. By implementing this feature, sensitive parameters are not accessible to unauthorized personnel. Up to 16 passwords may be configured.

This operator terminal has a 5.5-inch monochrome screen display with a resolution of 256 x 128 pixels. It has an embedded DH485 communication port to allows data exchange with qualified partner devices. Alarm printing may be configured to document alarm records containing alarm description and messages including timestamp and messages. Alarm print commands is routed to the RS232 printer interface.

The 2711-B5A3 PanelView 550 has Ten (10) Function keys (F1 to F10) assignable for variety of application for use during terminal runtime. The touchscreen cells have an actuation lifespan of 1 million presses, allows direct interaction with the operator terminal.
