Product Overview
The 2711-K10C3 is a This Human Machine Interface (HMI) Hardware that belongs to the PanelView 1000 Standard Operator Terminals. This operator terminal has a rugged design suitable for installation in a wide variety of application in different industries of automation.
The 2711-K10C3 supports implementation of standard HMI function such as Mimic and detailed area display, Trends, advanced alarms handling, security and recipe management.
Advanced alarm handling includes use of an integrated active and historical alarm list and alarm pop-up banners. For security, up to 16 user passwords are configurable per application. This operator terminal has universal language support though the embedded capability of 46 languages.
The HMI unit is used to provide real-time interface between an operator and mahine or process. The Color active matrix TFT, 10-inch screen size with effective display area of 211 x 158 mm (8.3 x 6.2 in.) and resolution of 640 x 480 pixels offers convenient way to monitor the process.
The integrated DH485 communication port supports multi-partner communication over RS485 topology enabling remote control of machines or process from a common location. The RS232 communication port is used for alarm printing functions.
The 2711-K10C3 has keypad interface. Sixteen (16) assignable function keys (F1 to F16) is combined with numeric keypads, navigation, cancel and confirm buttons. These keys have actuation lifespan of 1 million presses can be configured for screen navigation, sequence and control triggers, alarm acknowledgment, printing and other parameters.

Design graphic display with the PanelBuilder32 softwares library of elements. Aside from this elements library, the PanelBuilder32 is capable of offline development and test tools. These Two basic features minimizes engineering and development period.
The operator terminals memory is composed of a Random Access Memory (RAM) is 310 KB and an 1008 KB non-volatile memory. It is powered by a 85 to 264V AC source with input frequency of 47 to 60Hz.
