Product Overview
The 2711-K5A10L1 is a PanelView Standard Operator Terminal with Monochrome 5.5 inch screen, Keypad operator interface, Data Highway Plus (DH+) communication port, RS232 printer interface and support for PanelBuilder32 software.
This product from Allen-Bradley belongs to the subset product line PanelView 550. This product was discontinued on 06/30/2012.
The terminal has an integrated runtime environment that does not require an activation. During runtime, the terminal executes the application saved to the terminals memory and launches runtime version where configurations and animations become active. Terminal applications are developed with PanelBuilder32 software, a Microsoft windows application designed as the common development software for PanelView Standard Operator Terminal product line.
This operator terminal has dimensions of 6.57 (H) x 10.47 (W) x 4.17 (D) inches, Weight of 1.2 kg (2.7 lb) and installed in a NEMA Type 12/13, 4X (Indoor use only), IP54, IP65 enclosure.
This operator terminal is powered by a 18

The embedded keypad functions as the input mechanism that consists of Ten (10) functions keys, numeric input, navigation and cursor control keys. The keypad may be pressed up to 1 million actuations.
The terminal has a Random Access Memory (RAM) of 170KB and 240KB non-volatile memory. Optionally, the terminals memory can be expanded with the use of an ATA memory card with memory ranging from 2MB to 32 flash memory.
