Product Overview
The 2711-K6C16L1 is a PanelView Standard Operator Terminal. This electronic hardware is used in a wide variety of processes in different industries to function as a Human Machine Interface (HMI) devices. It collects and centralizes data from a single or a number of machine or processes and presents the data in a graphical manner that replicates the arrangement of the actual process. It enables operator to control the process through an assembly of buttons embedded with the terminal.
The 2711-K6C16L1 also supports implementation of colored graphics and animation which when utilized, may contribute to a more informative process visualization. Implement color codes to easily identify process area, pipe medium, process state, tank levels with the use of colored display.
The operator terminal has a 5-inch color active matrix Thin Film Transistor (TFT) screen with a VGA resolution of 320 x 234 and display area. It has a keypad assembly that is made of Ten (10) Function keys (F1 to F10), numeric input area, navigation buttons and cursor control keys. Each of the buttons that made up the keypad assembly has an expected lifespan of 1 million actuations. It has a pre-installed memory of 170KB for application runtime and 240KB for non-volatile memory. This operator terminal accepts a power input of 18 to 32 VDC.
The dual RS232 communication port support DF1 protocol and printer interface. The DF1 protocol is used for interfacing nearby controllers and devices as it is limited to a 50 feet distance. Typically, this operator terminal is installed on the same panel where the controller is also installed. The second RS232 communication port supports communication to an alarm printer.
