Product Overview
The 2711-T10C1 is a PanelView Standard Operator Terminal that offers scalable Human Machine Interface Solution (HMI) to a variety of industry needs. This product is ideal for use in medium to large application where graphical user interface involves use of a larger number of symbols and more complex user interface.
This product features a large screen, measuring 10.4 inches and a color matrix that allows implementation of animation to provide status through color indications. The terminal is operated using a touch screen mechanism. Operator actions and response to process events are initiated through the embedded touch membrane that is made of 384 touch sensitive cells that can be operated up to 1 million actuations.
Process data is received and operator actions are sent through the common communication highway supporting Remote I/O communication (RIO). RIO is used for integrating multiple devices and allows connection up to 32 nodes. It is implemented using a 3-wire conductor, Belden 9463.
The HMI hardware has rated power supply input range is 85-264VAC, with a frequency of 47-63 Hz. It has a maximum power consumption of 55 VA.
An integrated terminal configuration may be accessed using the configuration mode menu. This configuration environment is used to parameterize the terminal such as node address, RS232 printer settings, application set-up, screen brightness and other parameters.
A more sophisticated software is required to develop PanelView applications. This software application is PanelBuilder32, the common development software for PanelView Standard Operator Terminals. It allows offline configuration and tests including compilation of the developed application to ensure that the developed project is error free and ready for integration.
