Product Overview
The 2711-T10C15 is an industrial hardware compatible for use in a wide variety of application in different industries. This hardware is a PanelView Standard Operator Terminal that is used to implement Human Machine Interface (HMI) applications in the machine level of the factory floor. It visualizes the logic program and data stored in Allen-Bradley controllers, 3rd party devices and gateways.
The PanelView Standard Operator Terminal is a legacy product line specifically, 2711-T10C15 is a available as spare part only.
The 2711-T10C15 executes a custom designed application made with PanelBuilder32 software. PanelBuilder32 software is a legacy development software for all the PanelView Standard Operator Terminal product. It has a replacement part number 2711-ND3A. The operator terminal has an integrated runtime environment that hosts the custom application and does not need a license. Only the PanelBuilder32 software is separately purchased.
The 2711-T10C15 supports advanced monitoring and control applications. It may be configured with a security such as terminal and screen protection. Security may be implemented to prevent unwanted access to important parameters. The terminal can handle up to 16 passwords which in effect support up to 16 users, more than enough for a 24/7 operation.
The operator terminal also supports advanced alarm handling through an intuitive alarm view and display using the active and historical alarm display and pop-up alarm banners. Recipe management may also be implemented, trend display and system diagnostics.
The 2711-T10C15 is a ControlNet terminal. It supports Scheduled and unscheduled PLC-5 and ControlLogix messages are supported with linear or redundant cabling.
A secondary RS232 port is installed for forwarding alarm list and messages print queues to an alarm printer.
The terminal has a 10-inch Colored active matrix TFT screen. It has an effective display area is 211 x 158 mm (8.3 x 6.2 in.) and resolution of 640 x 480. The touchscreen interface allows direct interaction to the process. The Touch membrane is made up of 384 cells with expected lifespan of 1 million actuations. The terminal has a built-in memory of 1008 KB Non-Volatile and 310 KB Random Access Memory (RAM). VIIIVThe 2711-T10C15 electronic hardware is a Human Machine interface (HMI) made by Allen Bradley.
