The PanelView Standard Operator Terminal with catalog number 2711-T6C15L1 is an industrial hardware designed for use in wide variety of applications such as process and factory automation requirement and in different industries including Mining, Pulp and Paper, Pharmaceutical, Food and Beverage, Manufacturing and Packaging, Oil and Gas, Petrochemical and Power industry.
This hardware is a legacy PanelView 600 that functions as Human Machine Interface (HMI) device. The device visualizes the control logic stored in the automation devices installed across the factory floor. It features a brilliant colored display screen with diagonal size of 6 inches and VGA resolution of 320 x 234 pixels. It supports implementation of colored graphics and animation that can be used to implement standard color codes or plant specific nomenclature. Operator control is initiated through the touch sensitive screen equipped with 128 touch cells. It is recommended to operate the touch screen using a gloved finger or stylus device with a minimum tip radius of 1 mm (0.040 in).
It supports ControlNet communication. ControlNet is used to communicate and exchange data between single or multiple devices in remote distances. It is a high-speed communication protocol implemented over RG6 coaxial cable and copper tap cables.
The 2711-T6C15L1 executes a custom designed application made with PanelBuilder32 software. It supports advanced alarm handling, recipe management, tag trending and advanced diagnostics. It is powered by a 24VDC source. The terminal has a built-in memory of 240 KB Non-Volatile and 170 KB Random Access Memory (RAM).
