 Product Overview

The Allen-Bradley 2711P-B12C4A8 is a PanelView Plus 6 terminal that is ideal for use in large applications in wide variety of industries. This HMI may be used to monitor and control sigle to a number of machine and process as it is built with advanced HMI features.

It features a larger screen with a diagonal measurement of 12.1 inches, resolution of 800 x 600 pixels. This screen is ideal for designing a process mimic designed with actual image of graphic representation rather than text displays. Always apply consideration when dealing with imported images particularly bitmap as it may slow down screen navigation. The screen has an adjustable brightness or can be fitted with an anti-glare overlay. It also has a combination input interface through the integrated Keypad and Touch input interface. The keypad is made of 40 Functions keys, F1 through F20 and K1 through K20. These keys are programmable for a variety of functions accepting local and global functions. They may be used to trigger commands, sequences and other functions. The Touchscreen input interface is 8-wire analog resistive components layered with the screen to enable touch screen feature. Both these input interfaces are capable of 1 million actuations.

This terminal has an Ethernet port is used for multi-partner devices communication, while the DH485 protocol may also do the same but especially intended for legacy devices. The RS232 port is ideal to be utilized in the local perimeter typically, communication within 15 meters or within the panel communication.

This HMI has an integrated Windows CE environment that features a Windows Operating System look and feel terminal configuration environment.
