 Product Overview

The 2711P-B15C15A7 is a PanelView Plus Terminal that is used to implement visualization and control of a process or machine via the 15.0-inch colored screen and Keypad or Analog Resistive touchscreen. It is equipped with an internal memory of 256 MB Flash Memory 256 MB Random-Access Memory (RAM). It is powered by a voltage range of 85 to 264V AC.

PanelView Plus 1500 offers the largest screen size among the PanelView Plus product line. It is a great feature as it allows implementation of complex graphics and interfaces to be used in application with complex processes, sequences and states as well.

More images may be embedded as it features higher memory. Still, consider and monitor the usage of bitmap images from outside source as these images may slow down the transfer from window to another. Instead of using outside bitmap images, use the internal library as it is loaded with basic shapes, industrial object and material including vehicles as well as ISA standard symbols.

With the large screen, more room for operations may be implemented and a more standard Human Machine Interface (HMI) design may be followed. Alarm banners may be clearly placed on top or bottom of the screen and trend pages may be designed with more buttons and control capabilities. Instead of using to many pop-ups to cave space, group of objects may now be actively displayed beside the relative object. More importantly, pop-ups may be place at a place where it does not block the view of another object especially in critical processes.
