 Product Overview

The 2711P-B6C20D8 is a PanelView Plus 6 terminal. This electronic hardware manufactured by Allen-Bradley is used for implementing cost-effective, space saving HMI solution to allow process or machine operation in a remote location in the factory floor.

This operator terminal is powered by 18 to 32 VDC supply range with nominal supply of 24VDC. It has an internal memory of 256 MB Random Access Memory (RAM) and 512 MB non-volatile memory with a free user memory of approximately 73MB. It supports memory expansion module where files used or generated by the terminal may be kept. Files such as Data Logs, Recipe, User manuals, Operation Instruction and application back-up may be kept in this removable storage.

This terminal is designed with a dual input interface. It has Ten (10) function keys, numeric input and navigation buttons. The screen is also embedded with an analog resistive touchscreen. Both operator inputs are capable of up to 1 million actuations. The HMI screen features a 5.7-inch display with resolution of 320 x 240, 8-bit color graphics. The screen features a manual calibration feature and adjustable brightness.

The HMI features an Ethernet, RS232 communication port. Ethernet is ideal for communication over long distances while the RS232 may be used for point-to-point short distance. The USB host and device port is primarily used for inserting and external storage medium or external peripherals such as keyboard or mouse.

This operator terminal hosts a basic version of Windows CE software and FactoryTalk View Machine Edition runtime software that do not require an activation.
