Product Overview
The Allen-Bradley 2711P-T15C4D9 is a Human Machine Interface (HMI) hardware manufactured by Rockwell Automation for implementing process Visualization and control of process or machine in the factory floor.
This HMI device features an embedded 15.0-inch colored graphic screen. It has a resolution of 1024 x 768. It serves as the process visualization component where process is monitored through the displayed process mimic.
Process or Machine control is initiated by the operator via the embedded 8-wire analog resistive touchscreen input mechanism. When operating this device, it is recommended to use a gloved finger or
stylus to prevent damage or elements from building accumulating on the screen. The touch input is designed for 1 million actuations.
This HMI device is approved for Class I, Div 2, Groups A, B, C and D, Class II, Div 2 Groups F and G and Class III Hazardous Locations Enclosure type ratings per UL50. It is installed to a NEMA/UL Type 12, 13, 4X (indoor use only), and IEC IP54, IP65 rated enclosures. When installing the terminal, create a panel cutout with dimension of 154 (6.08) H x 220 (8.67) W. Maintain a clearance of 51 mm (2 in.) Top, 102 mm (4 in.) Bottom, 25 mm (1 in.) Side and 0 mm (0 in.) back clearances to allow adequate air flow, installation and troubleshooting workspace. This HMI terminal features an extended version of Windows CE software. With the extended version, advanced features are enabled such as Microsoft file viewers, Word, PowerPoint and Excel files may be opened. Remote desktop communication, web browser is also supported.
