The Allen-Bradley 2711P-T7C4A1 is an electronic hardware intended for use in different industries and process areas. This device is manufactured by Rockwell Automation to implement Human Machine Interface (HMI) solution. It is also the successor product of the discontinued PanelView Standard Operator Terminals thus, it may be selected as migration platform for the mentioned discontinued product family.

The 2711P-T7C4A1 belongs to the PanelView Plus operator terminal under the subset category of PanelView Plus 700. It has process visualization screen measuring 6.5-inch diagonal. The graphic resolution of the screen is 640 x 480 with display area measuring 132 x 99 mm (5.20 x 3.90 in). The screen area serves as the process visualization screen and support implementation of colored graphics.

The visualization area is layered with an analog resistive touchscreen component that may be operated up to 1 million actuations using a recommended actuation force of 10 to 110g.

The integrated communication ports provide communication flexibility. The Ethernet port is ideal for a remote HMI installation. The DH485 port may be used for data exchange between legacy devices while the RS232 port is ideal for local communication interface, typically a within the panel communication instance. The integrated USB port is designed for external peripherals such as a keyboard and mouse for additional input area and USB hub for port multiplexing.

This device is powered by an input supply range of 100 to 240VAC with nominal supply value of 220VAC and frequency of 60Hz. The integrated memory of the HMI hardware is 32MB / 64 MB integrated Flash memory / Random Access Memory.
