 Product Overview

The 1305-AA02A-HA2 is a product manufactured by Rockwell Automation that belongs to the 1305 Adjustable AC drive that sometimes referred to as Variable Frequency Drive (VFD) or Variable Speed Drive (VSD). Adjustable AC drives are designed to be used with 3-Phase AC induction motor for implementing speed control and integration to control systems.

This Variable Frequency Drive is designed for Voltage rating of 380-460VAC, 3-Phase and frequency of 50 to 60 Hz. It has a rated current output of 2.3A and motor rating 0.37kW (0.5HP). It comes with a This drive has an integrated Human Interface Module (HIM) with digital up and down keys depicted by the “HA2” suffix.

HIM allows out of the box configuration. Parameters may be accessed and configured to settings as per requirement. Speed control is accomplished via the digital up and down keys. Depending on the duration of key actuation, speed increment and decrement increases.

This drive may also be connected to an Allen-Bradley controller, Human Mahine Interface (HMI_ or Supervisory Control and Data Acquisition (SCADA) or 3rd party devices using DeviceNet, ControlNet, ScanPort and serial communication protocol. Parameters may be sent via block transfers. This allows multiple parameters saved in single user program which is sent by the controller one at a time according to the active routine.

Even without the HIM, the drive may be operated using hardwiring input and output devices to the drive’s built-in I/O. Built-in I/O includes Eight (8) Discrete Inputs, Two (2) Programmable Outputs, Two (2) Analog Inputs and One (1) Analog Output.
