The 1305-AA03A-HA1 is especially designed for use with AC Induction Motor for the purpose of speed control. This microprocessor-based hardware is a Variable Frequency Drive (VFD) that belongs to the 1305 Adjustable AC Drive product family.

This drive contains electronic devices. Proper handling must be observed. The Ground wire must be connected to GRD terminal directly to establish connection. This drive has internal protection such as Excessive Temperature, Over/Under Voltage, Power Ride Through, Control Ride Through, Ground Short, Line Voltage Transients, and Output Short Circuit protection. External protection devices may also be installed such as properly sized Circuit Breaker, Surge suppressor, Line Reactor, Noise filter and Isolation transformer.

This drive is designed for operation with 200-230VAC, 3-Phase, 50/60 Hz. It has an output rated current of 3.0 A and power rating of 0.55 kW (0.75 HP). It is capable of capable of producing High Torque over wide speed range. It exhibits Fast Acceleration that may be further reduced or increased using the Accel and Deccel parameters.

It comes with an integrated Human Interface Module (HIM) with analog Potentiometer for quick configuration and parameterization. The analog potentiometer is intended for local speed regulation however, the drive support installation of an external potentiometer and analog input as remote signal reference. The analog input may be in the form of 0 to 10 VDC or 4-20 mA which may come from an analog output of a Programmable Logic Controller (PLC) or stand alone controllers.

For conventional integration to existing control systems, embedded I/Os are provided. These I/Os allow the VFD to be controlled local or remote. This includes starting or stopping and increasing or decreasing the motor speed.
