 Product Overview

The 1305-AA012A-HA1 is a part number that belongs to the Bulletin 1305 product of adjustable AC drive. This product is microprocessor controlled and provides a 3-Phase, PWM output and frequency of up to 0-400Hz to control the speed of an AC induction motor.

Adjustable AC drives is sometimes referred to as Variable Frequency Drive (VFD) or Variable Speed Drives (VSD). This Allen-Bradley product is designed for operation in 3-Phase input Voltage range of 200-230VAC with Frequency of 50-60Hz, output current of 12.0 A and output voltage from 0 Volts to input Voltage. Applicable motor rating is 2.2 kW (3.0 HP) with integrated Human Interface Module (HIM) that comes with embedded digital Up and Down keys.

With the use of this hardware, conventional control wirings for Start/Stop, Forward/Reverse, Jog controls may be eliminated as the drive permits this operation by simply terminating appropriate input signaling devices to the TB2 terminal. The VFD does the logic electronically according to the custom defined parameters. Speed control cannot be implemented using conventional hardwiring thus, this adjustable AC drive is required for implementing such function.

This drive must be installed in enclosures with IP30 or NEMA Type 1 rating. Maintain operating temperature of 0 to 50 degrees C; for optional enclosures maintain 0 to 40 degrees C. Vibration must not exceed 1.0 G. This drive does not require a fan as it is capable of cooling through natural convection.

This drive has an integral I/O which includes Eight (8) Discrete Inputs, Two (2) Programmable Outputs, Two (2) Analog Inputs and One (1) Analog Output.
