 Product Overview

The 1305-BA01A-HA2 is a Variable Frequency Drive (VFD) that belongs to the 1305 Adjustable AC Drives manufactured by Allen Bradley. VFD device enable modulating control of motor for use in control system where precision and accuracy are required.

The required input voltage rating for this drive is a 3-Phase, 380-460VAC. This input voltage powers the drive including the internal circuitry to enable the output section to produce the rated current and power to actuate the connected motor. The designed current output of this drive is 1.3A and usable for motors with rating 0.37kW (0.5HP). These specifications are the common parameters used in sizing the drive but keep in mind that adjustable frequency drives are typically sized 1 level higher in reference to the motor nameplate.

An integral keypad termed as Human Interface Module (HIM) is included with digital Up and Down Keys embedded to it. The Up and Down keys are primarily used for increasing and decreasing the speed of the motor and for configuration functions. This keypad is also used to control the drive locally including entering Start, Stop, jog. Forward, reverse commands and other common motor control commands.

Control through hardwired signals is possible to implement as this has pre-installed terminal that house the I/O channels. These I/O are divided into Discrete Input, Discrete Output, Analog Input, and Analog Output. The Discrete and Analog inputs receive signals from external sources which dictates the operation of the motor. The Discrete and Analog outputs provide feedback for use by devices to indicate the drive’s state and output speed or frequency or according to the configured parameter to the output channels.
