The 1762-OF4 is a MicroLogix 1200 Series Analog Output Module by Allen-Bradley and Rockwell Automation. It has 4 single-ended unipolar outputs and continuous open and short-circuit protection. This hardware has a 12-bit unipolar resolution and an R-2R ladder voltage switching D/A converter type. Additional output specifications for this module include a module update time of 2.5 milliseconds and an output protection of ±32 milliAmps. General specifications include a maximum bus current draw of 40 milliAmps at 5 Volts DC and 165 milliAmps at 24 Volts DC. Analog normal operating range for voltage is 0 to 10 Volts DC and 4 to 20 milliAmps for current. Repeatability for the 1762-OF4 is ±0.12% and heat dissipation is 2.8 Watts. This module does not have a pilot duty rating. The enclosure type rating for this hardware is IP20 and its dimensions are 90 x 40.4 x 87 millimeters, or 3.54 x 1.59 x 3.43 inches. This product has an approximate shipping weight of 235 grams, or 8.28 ounces.
To mount the 1762-OF4 onto a DIN rail, first you must mount your DIN rail, ensuring that the placement of the module on the DIN rail meets the required amount of spacing. Next it is important to make sure that the DIN latch is closed. After this, it is time to hook the top slot on the module on the DIN rail. While pressing down on the module along the top of the rail, secure the bottom part of the module into position. It is important that the installer leave the protective wrapping on the module until the wiring process is complete. The 1762-OF4 can be mounted to EN50022-35x7.5 or EN50022-35x15 DIN rails. To remove this hardware from a DIN rail, first place a flathead screwdriver inside the DIN rail latch, located at the bottom of the controller. Next, holding the controller, pry in a downward motion on the latch until the latch is locked into its open position. Repeat the previous two steps for the second DIN rail latch, then unhook the top of the DIN rail slot from the rail.VIIIVThe 1762-OF4 is a MicroLogix 1200 Series Analog Output Module by Allen-Bradley and Rockwell Automation.
