The 1794-OV32 is a Flex IO component that features Thirty-Two (32) channel 24VDC Discrete output module. It supports sinking wiring configuration and non-isolated channels. Use this module to actuate devices or Final Control Elements (FCE). This module sends 24VDC voltage to wired devices to implement PLC commands. Each channel of this module is rated 1.0 mA minimum and maximum of 500 mA.
A terminal base is required to operate this module. Terminal bases compatible with this module are 1794-TB3, 1794-TB3S, 1794-TB3K and 1794-TB3SK. Terminal base provides grounding connection, input and power wiring terminals and module locking mechanism referred as keyswitch. With 1794-OV32, keyswitch position must be at number 2.
It is recommended to use a Yellow-Chromate DIN rail when installing this module. Plastic, aluminum and other DIN rails may be affected by oxidation while other are made of poor conducting materials.
The 1794-OV32 supports installation with any Flex IO adapters. Up to Eight (8) Flex IO, including the 1794-OV32 may be installed in a single Flex IO rack except 1794-ASB2 that supports only Two (2).
This module may also be used with FlexLogix Controller or FlexLogix Local IO extender (1794-FLA).
The modules Operating Temperature range is 0 to 55 °C or 32 to 131 °F, shock rating of 30g and Vibration rating of 5 g @ 10 to 500 Hz. Ensure adequate protection for mechanical, electrical and environmental interferences is installed to maximize the modules designed lifespan.
This module carries c-UL-us, CSA, CE, Ex, TÜV, KC, EAC and RCM certifications.
VIIIVThe 1794-OV32 is a Flex IO Sixteen (16) channel 24VDC sinking output module. This module is compatible for use with any 1794 Flex IO adapters to implement distributed I/O application.
