 Product Overview

The 1794-PS3 is a power supply module used with Flex IO system. This Power supply unit is capable of energizing up to Ten (10) Flex IO adapter and supports horizontal, Vertical, and Inverted Horizontal Mounting.

This power supply is designed for an input Voltage range of 85-265VAC and output Voltage Range of 20.4 to 27.6 VDC. It has output current capacity is 3A or 2.8 A depending on the mounting position and output power of 72.0 W with peak to peak output ripple of 1200mV.

It has a single Green LED indicator that is used to indicate power output between 20.4 and 28.0VDC. If the LED is OFF, it may mean that power is not present to the input terminals, output voltage exceeded 35VDC, Output Current is greater than 3.2 A and unit shut down due to overload protection.

If installed in hazardous location, keep in mind that this Power supply module is safer to be hardwired without an active power. If used as a replacement Power Supply, it is important to disconnect the power to the source before removing any other component or proceed with the replacement. Working with live power may produce electric arc and possibly cause explosion in Hazardous and explosive areas. Additionally, removing the module under power is not supported by this hardware. Every connected communication adapter will lose communication or completely de-energized is power supply is removed.

This power supply module measures 87H x 95W x 69D mm or 3.4H x 3.7W x 2.7D inches. VIIIVThe 1794-PS3 is a Flex IO power supply. This power supply is capable of input supply 85-265 VAC voltage range and output range of 20.4 to 27.6V DC. This Power supply can supply up to Ten (10) Flex IO adapters.
