Product Overview
The 1794-TB3 is a terminal base intended for use with Flex IO modules. This terminal base has North American and European Hazardous Location Approval for Zone 2 process areas. This unit is a cage clamp terminal base, compatible for working voltage and isolation voltage ratings of categories 24 VAC / VDC and 120 VAC / VDC. Appropriate wire size for this module is 0.34 to 3.3 mm² or 22
12 AWG solid or stranded copper wire rated at 75 °C or 167 °F or greater. Maximum insulation of 1.2 mm (3/64 in.) Observe proper splicing and stripping. Wire strip length should be 5-6 mm or 0.20 to 0.24 in. to avoid exposed conductors. This terminal base has c-UL-us, CSA and Ce certifications.
Terminal bases provide DIN rail or mounting plate holes, Flex IO locking mechanism and wiring terminal for both signal and power wiring. It has a dimension of 94 x 94 x 69 mm (HxWxD) or 3.7 x 3.7 x 2.7 in. This measurement already includes the Flex IO module.
The 1794-TB3 multiple parts include Female Flexbus connector, Terminal base unit, Male Flexbus connector, Keyswitch, Mounting holes, I/O and power terminals, Locking tab and Lock latch.
This Terminal base has Three (3) groups of terminal stirps. Group A consists of terminals 0 - 15, Group B for terminals 16 - 33 and Group C has terminals 34 - 51. This terminal provides power connections. Voltage common terminals are assigned at terminals 16 and 33 while Positive Voltage terminal are located at terminal 34 and 51. For daisy chaining, Supply in positive is at terminal 34 while negative is at terminal 16. Supply out positive is at terminal 51 and terminal 33 is the negative partner terminal.VIIIVThe 1794-TB3 is a Flex IO Terminal base.
