 Product Overview

The 1794-TB32 is a terminal base intended for use with Flex IO modules. This terminal base has Three (3) terminal layers grouped as A, B and C. Group A consists of terminals 0 to 15, Group B consists of Terminal 16 to 33 and Group C consists of 34 to 51. Terminal 16, 33, 34 and 51 has no connection. +V1 terminals are 35, 37, 39 and 41. +V2 +V2 terminals are 43, 45, 47 and 49. COM1 terminals are 36, 38, 40 and 42. COM2 terminals 44,46,48 and 50.

When used with high-vibration areas, especially with vertical mounting, utilize DIN rail loch with part number 1492-EA35 to provide unwanted detachment of the module to the terminal base unit.

This terminal base has North American and European Hazardous Location Approval for Zone 2 process areas. This unit is a cage clamp terminal base, compatible for working voltage and isolation voltage ratings of categories 24 VAC / VDC. Recommended wire size for this module is 0.21 to 1.3 mm² (24…16 AWG) stranded copper wire rated at 75 °C (167 °F) or greater with maximum insulation of 1.2 mm (3/64 in.). Terminal base units are rated 10 A. Observe proper splicing and stripping. Wire strip length should be 5-6 mm or 0.20 to 0.24 in. to avoid exposed conductors.

Terminal bases provide DIN rail or mounting plate holes, Flex IO locking mechanism and wiring terminal for both signal and power wiring. It has a dimension of 94 x 94 x 69 mm (HxWxD) or 3.7 x 3.7 x 2.7 in. This measurement already includes the Flex IO module. VIIIVThe 1794-TB32 is a Flex IO Terminal base. This component is a cage clamp terminal base that is used with Flex IO modules. This terminal base provides DIN rail attachment, Module locking mechanism and terminals for Input and Power wiring.
