Product Overview
The 1794-TB3GS is a grounded spring-clamp terminal base with integrated grounding terminals. It is exclusively used for Flex IO modules. This unit features Thirty-Six (36) I/O, Two (2) common, Two (2) +V and 10 chassis ground terminals. It may be used in application with voltage supply of 31.2 VDC. It has a Current capacity of 10A. This unit is mostly used with analog modules.
Terminal base such as the 1794-TB3GS provides sufficient wiring terminals for analog modules such as
Thermocouple and RTD module 1794-IRT8, Frequency Input Module 1794-IJ2 and High-Speed counter module 1794-VHSC. A 24VDC power supply may be terminated to this module.
Terminal base are the Flex IO modules attachment component to the FlexBus as well as the Panel mounting plate. Without the terminal base, modules cannot be energized or used as the terminal base pins establish connection to the Flexbus so that the power may be distributed and provided to the module. Terminal bases also has the DIN Rail snap-in mechanism located at the back of the hardware to establish panel mounting whether horizontal or vertical.
This unit is a spring clamp terminal base. When terminating signals, a small flat screw driver or precision screw driver is needed. Use this hardware in voltage categories of 24 VAC / VDC.
The hardware terminals are designed for wires with size ranging from 22 to 12 AWG or 0.34 mm sq. to 2.5 mm sq. Only stranded copper wire designed for 75 °C or higher with maximum insulation rating of 3/64 in (1.2 mm).
