The 1794-TB2 is a terminal base intended for use with Flex IO modules. It has a pre-built Sixteen (16) I/O; 2 common and 2 +V IO power terminals. It is compatible for use with 264V AC/DC voltage categories. This module has an integrated fuse and fuse holder to provide protection to connected devices. It is a National Electrical Manufacturers Association (NEMA) type terminal base that support use of larger gauge of wire.
This fuse holder of this terminal base are compatible with 5X20 mm fuses located on every even numbered terminal in terminal strip group B. Install or change the fuse by downward pressing the fuse holder, removing the existing fuse from the holder, inserting the new 5X20 mm fuse and rotating the fuse holder back to snap to the locked position. Included in this terminal are Eight (8) slow-blow fuse rated 1.6A, 250VAC. These fuses are ideal for Flex IO Discrete Output module with part number 1794-OA8. It may also be used to provide external fuse for 1794-OM8 and Relay Output Module 1794-OW8
Modules. Recommended fuse or replacement fuses are Littlefuse PN23901.6 A-B PN94171304 and SAN-O PNSD6-1.6A or any equivalent fuse. It is not advisable to use this terminal base with Flex IO module whose part numbers ending in P which stands for protected as they have an internal electronic fusing.
This terminal includes multiple parts such as as Female Flexbus connector, Terminal base unit, Male Flexbus connector, Keyswitch, Mounting holes, I/O and power terminals, Locking tab, Lock latch, fuses and terminal strip cover.
VIIIVThe 1794-TBNF is a Flex IO Terminal base. This component is a NEMA style screw clamp fused terminal base that is used with Flex IO modules. This terminal base provides DIN rail attachment, Module locking mechanism and terminals for Input and Power wiring.
