The 20AD052A0AYNANC0 is an adjustable Frequency AC drive that is used to implement speed control of an AC motor, perform typical motor functions and enable integration to conventional or computer-based control systems. Adjustable Frequency AC drives may also be called as Variable Frequency Drive (VFD) or Variable Speed Drive (VSD).
The operating voltage input requirement of this adjustable frequency AC drive is a 3-Phase voltage, rated 480VAC. The corresponding output Power is 22.0 kW or 30.0 HP along with High Current output of 40.0 A. The output voltage of this drive is in 3-Phase also ranging from 0 to 460VAC or the rated working voltage. The frequency output is programmable having a range of 0 to 500 Hz. These are the major factors in sizing an adjustable frequency AC drive including the drive motor ratio that must be within a minimum of 1:2 and not greater than ratio of 2:1. This ensures that the VFD will be able to drive the motor. Typically, the VFD is sized one level higher than the motors current and power rating.
The minimum required enclosure to be used for mounting this drive is a panel with rating IP20 / NEMA UL Type 1. This means that this drive is used indoors within a panel that prevents entry of solid materials. Clearances for installation must be observed as well to allow proper air flow within the panel. Clearance shall be 76.2 mm or 3.0 inches for both To and Bottom of the drive. To aid in climate control within the panel, fans and heating components may be installed.
