Similar to other drive families, PowerFlex supports integration to old and new control systems including computer-based control systems. To enable connection with CompactLogix or ControlLogix controllers, the communication adapter installed to the drive must be compatible or same with the communication adapter available from the controller. By default, CompactLogix and ControlLogix have Ethernet communication as default and native protocol. Other protocols needed a Logix communication adapter as well.
