The 20BD052A0AYNANC0 is an adjustable Frequency AC drive that is manufactured by Allen-Bradley. This product provides solution for modulating speed control requirement of different industries. This drive may be used from basic fan and pumps application up to applications where positioning of torque control is required.
This drive features fast detecting current limit and Bus Voltage Regulation to avoid frequent drive tripping when acceleration and deceleration setting are set to maximum. It has High-Speed analog inputs with that is essential in control response, Programmable parameters which can be modified anytime, Inertia-Ride through which utilizes the energy stored caused by the rotating load, Droop for load sharing applications and may other features.
This drive must be operated with an input voltage of 3-phase, 480VAC. The drives rated output current is 52.0 amperes and power output of 40.0 Horsepower. This may also be used with single-phase systems however, rated output is significantly reduced to 50%.
This PowerFlex drive features a support for a wide variety of communication protocols. Popular protocols such as Ethernet, ControlNet, DeviceNet, Profibus, Modbus RTU, RS485, Lonworks and USB are supported. Support for communication protocol is enabled with the use of communication adapters. All these communication options support flexible fault configuration where fault based actions may be configured.
Mounting considerations for this drive include a mounting clearance of 101.6 mm or 4.0 inches for Top and Bottom, with drive spacing of requirement of 50.8 mm or 2.0 inches. These mounting clearances are designed to ensure proper air flow as the required operating temperature for this product is 0 to 40 °C (0 to 104 °F).
