The Allen-Bradley 22B-B012N104 is a PowerFlex 40 drive that is used to implement speed control in different applications. Aside from speed regulation, this drive enables remote, local, manual and auto operation of a motor it is used with. It also gives the motor the capability to be involved in a more complex control system such as FeedForward, Cascade, Auctioneering, Ratio and other control strategies.
VFDs also contribute in lowering start-up and shutdown cost by efficiently controlling the important start-up and shutdown rests of a motor or putting it to a certain minimum level while the entire process is starting or stopping as well.
The 22B-B012N104 specifically supports the mentioned functions. Additionally, this VFD unit features a input rating of 3-phase, 200 to 240 VAC. and Output voltage rating of 200 to 240VAC, 3-phase along an output Current of 12 A Amperes and power of 2.2 Kilowatt or 3.0 Horsepower.
This VFD support other equally important function such as Sensorless Vector Control, Variable PWM, PID, Timer, Counter, Basic Logic and Step Logic Functions. It also comes with integrated communication ports such as such as RS485, RS232, BacNet, ControlNet, DeviceNet, Ethernet I/P, Lonworks and Profibus DP.
Though the integrated I/Os, remote and local operation may be implemented. The Three (3) fixed inputs allocated for Start / Stop / Reverse inputs, remote signals coming from a remote panel or controller may be wired to this terminal. Additionally, the Four (4) programmable inputs provides flexibility to accommodate other motor related signals. Signals such as Local / Remote, Auto, Cascade, Manual and other signals may be configured in these programmable inputs.
The integrated Analog Input is typically used as the speed reference. This usually comes from a remote panel, control room or local potentiometer. This analog input can accept 0 to 10V and 4 to 20. The analog output may be used as the VFDs speed feedback for use by indicators, controllers and other devices as reference to another functions. The outputs in the form of opto-coupler and Form C contacts may be used to provide discrete feedback such as VFD state. VIIIVThe 22B-B012N104 is a PowerFlex 40 drive with 3.0 HP, 3-phase Input rated 200 to 240V at 50/60 Hz, 3-Pahse output rated 200 to 240V at 50/60 Hz.
