Product Overview
The 22B-D024H204 PowerFlex 40 adjustable frequency drive with 3-phase, 380 to 480 VAC input voltage rating, output Current of 24 Amperes and power of 11 Kilowatt or 15 Horsepower. This drive is suitable for panel mounting in an enclosure rated IP20 / NEMA UL Type Open.
The adjustable frequency drive may be initially configured using the integral keypad installed at the front panel of the device. The keypad has function buttons, circular dial (potentiometer) and LED display screen. When the internal frequency is being adjusted, the display indicator LED flashes. Changes are immediately saved to the drive. Alternatively, the optional keypad such as a remote hand held or remote panel mount may be separately purchased to configure the drive without using the fixed keypad or without opening the enclosure. The drive also supports software packages to be installed in a computer such as Drive Explorer or Drive Tools SP. For premiere integration, use Studio 5000 Logix designer.
The drive may also be integrated to MODBUS capable controllers, Human Machine Interface (HMI) or Supervisory Control and Data Acquisition (SCADA) systems for direct integration and control of the drive.
Additional communication adapters may be installed such as BACnet, LonWorks, DeviceNet, Profibus, Ethernet and some other component adapters. This enhances the drives capability to communicate to different industry standard protocols.
Conventional integration method through hardwiring is supported by utilizing the Discrete inputs that can be in sink / source configuration, an analog input with signal types of 0 to 10 VDC and 4 to 20 mA, typically used as speed reference, an analog output supporting the same signal types as the analog input however, this analog output may be used as speed feedback and output channels that can be used to report the drives state.
