Product Overview
The PowerFlex 40 adjustable frequency drive with part number 22B-D2P3C104 enables control of motor speed through frequency variation. It features support for functions such as Sensorless Vector Control, Variable Pulse With Modulation (PWM) supporting up to 16 kHz for quiet operation and higher current in low frequency operation, Proportional - Integral and Derivative (PID) control for process control, Timer, Counter, Step Logic and Basic Logic commands that are activated with the use of external inputs.
This drive has a 3-phase, 380 to 480 VAC input voltage rating, output Current of 2.3 Amperes and power of 0.75 Kilowatt or 1.0 Horsepower. This drive is suitable for panel mounting in an enclosure rated IP66 / NEMA UL Type 4X.
It has an integral front-panel fixed keypad for configuration of the drive while it supports remote panel or remote handheld keypad for remote configuration. It may also be configured using Drive Explorer, Drive Tools SP software or Connected Components Workbench. Premiere integration is supported with Studio 5000 Logix designer.
The embedded I/O terminals include 24VDC sink / source inputs designated for Three (3) Fixed inputs designated START/STOP/REV and Four (4) Fully Programmable inputs. Two (2) unipolar inputs that can accept 0 to 10V and 4 to 20 mA and One (1) bipolar input that is compatible for +/- 10VDC. It has integrated Two (2) Digital/Optocoupler Output and Relay output with 1 Normally open and 1 Normally closed (form C) contacts. Also included is a single analog output that is configurable for 0 to10V or 4 to 20 mA.
