The Adjustable Frequency AC drive with part number 22C-D030N103 from Allen-Bradley is a member of PowerFlex 400 product catalog that is used for Fan and pump applications. It is designed for 3-Phase input Voltage rating of 380-480VAC, Output Voltage of 0-460VAC, rated output Current of 22.0 A and Power of 11.0 kW (15.0 HP).
Install this drive to an IP20 / NEMA UL Type Open enclosure which means protection for entry of objects with not more than 50mm and vertical water splash even if the enclosure is tilted 15 Deg. In reference to the ground.
Acceptable wire size range for input power wiring are 2.5 mm2 (14 AWG) to 16.0 mm2 (4 AWG) while for output power wiring or the wires connected to the motor, 8.4 mm2 (8 AWG) to 33.6 mm2 (2 AWG) cables sizes are the acceptable range. For I/O terminals, recommended wire sizes are 0.13 mm2 (26 AWG) to 1.3 mm2 (16 AWG). Recommended products are Belden 8760 or 9460 and Belden 8770. Wire with equivalent specifications from the recommended sizes or products may be used. It is important to follow these recommendation as smaller wires may tend to have loose connection overtime while larger cross section wires may impede the wiring or the nearby terminals resulting in tight spacing and difficulty in troubleshooting.
This drive supports out of the box configuration through the integrated Human Interface Module (HIM). This keypad has displays 2 parameter lines with 16 character each.
