The Allen-Bradley product with part number 22C-D038A103 is a PowerFlex 400 Adjustable Frequency AC drive is used to implement speed control. It is especially intended for fan and pump applications.
This adjustable Frequency AC drive is designed for input Voltage rating of 380-480VAC, Output Voltage of 0-460VAC, rated output Current of 38.0 A and Power of 18.5 kW (25.0 HP). It has an embedded I/O located in terminal block TB1 which consists of Three (3) Semi-programmable and Four (4) Fully programmable discrete inputs, these inputs support and sourcing wiring configuration which may be selected via a DIP switch, Two (2) Form C outputs which is Two Normally Open and Two Normally closed contacts, each with individual common, One (1) Opto-coupler output, Two (2) Analog Input which accepts signal types of 0-10VDC and 4-20mA, both activated via an embedded switch, Two (2) Analog outputs capable of 0-10VDC and 4-20mA signals as well, selectable using an embedded DIP switch.
This drive also has an integral keypad which may be used for immediate configuration. It also supports configuration via programming software packages such as DriveExplorer and DriveTools SP software and Connected Components Workbench (CCW).
This drive supports communication protocols such as BACnet, ControlNet, Ethernet and DeviceNet. It has an integral communication port of RS485, Metasys N2 and P1- FLN.
Install this drive to an IP20 / NEMA UL Type Open enclosure. For input power wiring, use wire size range of 2.5 mm2 (14 AWG) to 16.0 mm2 (4 AWG). For output power wiring, use 8.4 mm2 (8 AWG) to 33.6 mm2 (2 AWG) cables. For control and signal wiring, use 0.13 mm2 (26 AWG) to 1.3 mm2 (16 AWG) specifically, Belden 8760 or 9460 and Belden 8770. Equivalent wires may also be used aside from the specified ones.
