The 22A-D2P3N104 is a PowerFlex 40 Adjustable Frequency Drive that offers cost effective and seamless implementation of AC motor speed regulation and integration to control systems.
This PowerFlex product has a rated current of 2.3 A, output power of 0.75 kW (1.0 HP). The drives input is 3-Phase 380-480VAC.
The 22A-D2P3N104 is a PowerFlex 40 drive that aside from speed control, enables remote and automatic of control of a motor without the need of complex wiring. This is achieved by wiring signal interfaces to the integrated I/O terminals made of Discrete Inputs, Analog Input, Discrete outputs and Analog output. Seven (7) discrete inputs ale allocated in the I/O terminal, 2 of which are dedicated for Start and Stop while 5 are fully programmable for custom defined inputs. The analog input is used for speed reference in the form of 0 to 10V or 4 to 20 mA. This signal inputs are scaled to 0 to 60 Hz where 0VDC or 4 mA refers to 0Hz and 10VDC or 20mA signals 60Hz. External potentiometer may also be used with range of 1-10k ohms, 2 Watt minimum. It also has One (1) programmable Form C outputs and Two (2) opto outputs. These outputs may be used as the drives status feedback to the control system such as Running / Stopped and Fault. The drive also has One (1) Analog output that transmits 0-10VDC or 4-20mA signal which may be interpreted by the control system as the motos feedback speed. This is compatible for use in closed loop application.
Full integration to control systems are achieved when a Human Machin Interface (HMI), Supervisory Control and Data Acquisition (SCADA) or any other computer-based controls are able to send control commands to the drive. Command such as Start / Stop, Local /Manual, may be sent via the built-in RS485 communication protocol. This integral protocol supports connection of up to 31 PowerFlex drives in daisy-chain topology. Aside from RS485, other communication protocol is supported by adding optional communication adapters such as ProfiBus, BacNet, LonWorks, DeviceNet and ControlNet.
