Product Overview
The 22D-E9P9N104 is a PowerFlex 40 drive that offers compact and cost-effective solution for implementing control of an AC motor with focus on speed regulation.
There are a variety of Seven (7) Discrete Inputs installed to this unit along Three (3) Discrete outputs, One (1) Analog Input and One (1) Analog output.
Discrete inputs are commonly used to remotely dictate the drives operation. They are wired individually to signal sources that may command Starting / Stopping of the drive, Reversing the motors rotation, initiating Jog operation, allowing Local or Remote and Automatic and Manual Operation.
There are a total of Three (3) Discrete Output channels, which consists of Two (2) Form C contacts and One (1) opto output channel. The relay output may be used with 115VAC / 220VAC and 24VDC voltage categories. Discrete outputs may be wired to a monitoring device such a pilot lamp or a controller to indicate the drives Run and Fault status.
The Analog input is most of the time used for speed command of the motor. 0 to 10 VDC or 4-20mA is scaled to 0-60Hz of the drives frequency. Alternative to the drives analog input, a potentiometer may be used to command the motors speed.
The analog output is typically used as feedback to drives actual speed or for the purpose of checking the commanded output was implemented by the drive. If the drive is used a part of an automatic control loop, the analog output may be used as Process Variable to the loop controller.VIIIVThe 22D-E9P9N104 is a PowerFlex 40 adjustable frequency AC drive. This drive has a Voltage Input rated 460-600VAC, 3-phase and output Voltage of 0-575VAC with rated Current of 9.9 A and Power of 5.5 kW (7.5 HP).
