Product Overview
The PanelView Standard Operator Terminal with part number 2711-B5A9L1 is a DC powered PanelView 550 used for Human Machine Interface (HMI) applications. This HMI hardware is an industrially approved electronic device able to withstand plant environment.
Install the device on a NEMA Type 12/13, 4X (Indoor use only), IP54 and IP65 rated enclosures.
The operator panel must be operated in an environment with temperature of 0

The 2711-B5A9L1 has a 5.5-inch monochrome screen which works as the visualization components of the operator terminals. It also has an integrated operator input area for initiating commands and actions with the use of the keypad and touchscreen interface. The keypad is made of Ten (10) Function keys (F1 to F10) assignable to a variety of application while the touchscreen cells allow direct interaction with objects embedded onto the screen. Both operator interface has an expected lifespan of 1 million actuations.
The 2711-B5A9L1 is AC powered with a rated power supply input range of 85-264V AC, and input frequency of 47-63 Hz. The terminal has dual RS232 port, One intended for DH485 over RS232 connection while the other port is for alarm printing functions.
The operator terminal has an integrated Random Access Memory (RAM) amounting to 170KB and 240KB of non-volatile memory. The 2711-B5A9L1PanelView 550 is configurable using the PanelBuilder32 software.
The 2711-B5A9 has built-in provisions for enhancements which includes memory expansion, interface modules, anti-glare overlays, real-time clock, function key legend insert, upload and download cables among others.
