Product Overview
The PanelView Standard Operator Terminal with catalog number 2711-B6C16 is a PanelView 600.
It enables process visualization and provides an intuitive user interface for input of control actions.
The operator terminal is approved for operation in Class 1 Division 2 operation and recommended for installation on a NEMA 4X enclosure. For proper installation, create a panel cut-out following the cut-out template provided with the terminal. The cut-out dimensions are 167 mm (6.57 in) both sides and 264 mm (10.39 in) for top and bottom. Maintain Two (2) inches clearance on all sides to allow adequate air flow. The installation depth of the 211-B6C16 is 99 mm (3.89 in.) 131 mm (5.14 in.) with memory card retainer; 220 mm (8.65 in.) with memory card retainer and clearance to insert and remove memory card.
The operator terminals internal memory is allocated for Random-Access Memory (RAM) amounting to 170KB and 240KB non-volatile memory. These memory areas are fixed and cannot be expanded.
The operator terminal has 5-inch display with Color active matrix. It features a resolution of 320 x 234. Operator responses and control actions are entered using the terminals Keypad and Touch interface. Keypad buttons include Ten (10) Function keys, numeric input and navigation buttons while touch interface is made directly through the screen via the embedded 128 touch cells.
The terminal has a dual RS232 communication port that supports DF1 communication protocol. The secondary RS232 is used as alarm printer port that is parameterized in the configuration mode menu. The RS232 printer port can be connected to an alarm printer through the communication cable 2711-NC13.
