Product Overview
The PanelView Standard operator terminal with part number2711-B6C20L1 is an Ethernet I/P operator terminal that functions as a Human Machine Interface (HMI) device. Human Machine Interface devices contributes in efficient process monitoring and control by providing the user or operator with real-time and up-to-date process visualization and intuitive user interface.
The PanelView 2711-B6C20L1 supports implementation of terminal screen security, adavanced alarm handling, universal language support and multi-layer function configuration.
Advanced alarm handling is accomplished by designing an active and historical alarm list and pop-up alarm banners. This list and banners are natively supported by the screen and configured using PanelBuilder32 software.
Universal language support enable the operator terminal to be installed in almost any country as language switching is embedded to the terminal through simple language switching.
Terminal screen security is enabled with the use of a user list and passwords that is introduced in the terminal during configuration. By implementing security, access privileges may be invoked and preent unwanted access to important process parameters or settings.
The HMI device features a colored screen with 5-inch diagonal size, display area of 115 x 86 mm (4.54 x 3.4 in.). and resolution of 320 x 234 pixels. The terminal is designed to allow the operator interact to process in two ways, through the keypad and touchscreen. The keypad uses assignable Ten (10) function keys from F1 to F10 while the touchscreen has an integrated touch membrane that is made of 128 touch cells. Both operator input are capable of up to 1 million actuations.
The 2711-B6C20L1 has an integrated Ethernet communication port that allows data exchange of process data in 10 / 100 mbps transmission speed over Cat5 or Cat6 communication cable. The terminal is configured using PanelBuilder32 software. IT is powered by an AC source with a rated supply of 18 to 32 VDC with nominal supply of 24VDC.
