Product Overview
The 2711-B6C3L1 is an Allen Bradley PanelView 600 terminal with integral support for DH485 communication protocol and alarm printing functions. This operator terminal also features a combination input area through the touchscreen and keypad, a colored process visualization screen, a Random Access Memory and Non-volatile memory, support for advanced alarm handling, universal language and screen security. It is developed by a common software tool, the PanelBuilder32 software with part number 27110-ND3A.
The 2711-B6C3L1 process visualization screen has a has a 6-inch Color active matrix TFT Display, with VGA resolution of 320 x 234 pixels.). Control actions are initiated from any of the dual input interface using the Keypad and Touchscreen component. The Touchscreen interface is operated by pressing an animated object in the screen. This action triggers a defined function tied to a specific program element in the controller. The touchscreen interface is made of 128 cells arranged 16 columns x 8 rows with individual cell measuring 20 x 29 pixels. The Keypad interface allows the operator to press a Function key that is linked to an object with specific animation properties. The Keypad is an assembly composed of Ten (10) function keys, numeric input, navigation and cursor control keys. The touch cells and keypad are designed to operate for a minimum of 1 million actuations.
The terminal is capable of communicating with Allen-Bradley PLCs such as PLC5, SLC, MicroLogix, CompactLogix and ControlLogix through the DH485 communication protocol. It uses server explicit, I/O explicit and listen only modes to perform data exchange between the controllers. It also supports communication with 3rd party devices.VIIIVThe 2711-B6C3L1 electronic hardware is a Human Machine interface (HMI) made by Allen Bradley. This is PanelView Standard Operator Terminal that is rated 24VDC, features a 6-inch display, embedded keypad and touch input area with DH485 communication port and RS232 printer interface.
