Product Overview
The 2711-K6C3L1 is a Human Machine Interface (HMI) device which belong to the PanelView Standard Operator terminal by Allen-Bradley. It belongs to a sub-category of PanelView 600 that features a 5-inch colored screen, integrated DH485 communication port and RS232 interface for an alarm printer.
This rugged electronic hardware enables real-time data exchange between process or machine controllers and displays the data in graphical or textual form according to the application requirement. Essentially, it allows real-time monitoring and interaction through the display screen and keypad input area.
It has a 5-inch color active matrix Thin Film Transistor (TFT) screen. The colored screen is installed with a backlight component that is rated 50,000 hr. half-life. The screen has a resolution of 320 x 234 pixels. Process inputs such as control commands and manipulations are triggered by pressing the keypad interface. This keypad is made of Ten (10) function keys, numeric input, navigation and cursor control keys.
Process data and information is collected via the DH485 communication port. This port is compatible for direct communication with SLC 500 or MicroLogix processors. Support to PLC5, CompactLogix and ControlLogix system is included with the use of communication adapters. The RS232 port installed for printer communication is defined in the configuration mode menu. Print alarm description, messages, timestamp and alarm group with this communication port.
