Product Overview
The 2711-K6C5L1 is a PanelView Standard Operator Terminal that is used for implementing Human Machine Interface (HMI) solution in the factory floor and different industries and application.
This operator terminal is rated NEMA 4X and approved for Class 1 Division 2 operation. It carries certification from UL, cUL/CSA and CE. It also has compliance with different requirements which include Emissions (Class A: Industrial EN50081-2:1993, Programmable Controllers Equipment Requirements and Tests EN61131-2:1995, Low Voltage Directive (Safety Sections of EN61131-1), UL1604 Class 1, Div 2, Groups A, B, C, D, T4, CSA 22.2, No. 213 Class 1, Div 2, Groups A, B, C, D, T4 among others.
The HMI hardware belong to the sub-category of PanelView 600. It is ideal for use in small applications with simple graphic and user interface requirement. If being used to control a number of machines, ensure that the application size, display screen are suitable for the requirement. The terminal supports enhancement such as installation of anti-glare overlays, interface modules, function key legend inserts real-time clock and other components. Note that this terminal does not support an additional non-volatile memory. The terminals internal memory allocation is RAM amounts to 170KB and 240KB non-volatile memory.
The HMI device is equipped with a 5- inch display screen. The screen has a modular backlight with a lifespan of 50,000 hr 1/2 life at 25 °C (77 °F) with appropriate replacement part number of 2711-NL5. It has a rated power supply input range of 18 to 32 VDC, with nominal voltage input of 24VDC. It has an embedded keypad that is made of Ten (10) function keys, numeric input, navigation buttons and cursor control keys.
The terminal is installed with a single RS232 communication port for that supports DH485 communication protocol. DH485 communication protocol is capable of covering 10000 ft.
