Product Overview
The 2711-T10C1L1 is an industrial hardware compatible for use in a wide variety of application in different industries. This hardware is a PanelView Standard Operator Terminal that is used to implement Human Machine Interface (HMI) applications in the machine level of the factory floor. It visualizes the logic program and data stored in Allen-Bradley controllers, 3rd party devices and gateways.
This HMI device is ideal for application requiring more detailed graphics, symbol and image rich design as it has a higher application runtime memory of 310KB. Runtime memory is affected if the graphical representation contains too many images. This may be observed with slow screen switching. The screen has a size of 10.4 inches with resolution of 640 x 480 pixels.
Operator controls the process using the touch interface capable of 1 million actuations. As the operator terminal is typically installed in the machine level, it is prone to contaminants such as oil, paint, water and dust. To protect the input interface and maximize operation, operate with a gloved finger of stylus with device with a minimum tip radius of 1 mm (0.040 in).
The integrated Remote I/O (RIO) communication port of the HMI device enables communication with partner devices distance over long distances. It is especially compatible with with Allen-Bradleys PLC5, SLC 500, MicroLogix and ControLogix controllers. It is also compatible with encompass partner products and 3rd party devices. The RS232 printer interface port is used for printing alarm records containing alarm description, messages, timestamp, user and alarm source.
The HMI hardware has designed for 18-32VDC power supply with nominal supply of 24VDC.
