Product Overview
The 2711-T10G1 is a PanelView Standard Operator terminal that features grayscale display
screen, Touch operator input area and integrated Remote I/O communication port and RS232 printer interface. The operator terminal has a Random-Access Memory (RAM) of 310 KB and a 1008 KB non-volatile memory. It is designed to be supplied with AC power with supply range of 85 to 264VAC.
The expanded screen size of this Human Machine Interface (HMI) device is ideal for implementation of more complex graphics. Display elements such as equipment, device and other images may be included in the process mimic along with text, entry lists, radio buttons and other control elements. Color schemed animation may also be used to provide more information to the operator through the color appearances of any screen element.
The 271T10G1 has 10.4-inches diagonal size with display area of 211 x 158 mm and resolution of 640 x 480 pixels. The screen has Active Matrix Thin-Film Resistor (TFT) with Cold Cathode Fluorescent (CCF) Backlight with 4 shades of gray that has a rated half-life of 50,000 hours. It has a touch interface that is made of 384 touch sensitive cells. The touchscreen is designed to be actuated up to 1 million actuations.
The integrated Remote I/O (RIO) communication port of the HMI device enables communication with partner devices distance over long distances. It is especially compatible with Allen-Bradleys PLC5, SLC 500, MicroLogix and ControlLogix controllers via direct connection or with the use of communication adapters.
