 Product Overview

The PanelView Standard Operator Terminal with catalog number 2711-T10G10 is a PanelView 1000 DeviceNet Grayscale Terminal. This Operator terminal is approved for NEMA 4X and Class 1 Division 2 operation. It carries UL, cUL/CSA and CE certifications.

PanelView Standard Operator Terminals support Advanced alarming functionality that includes active and historical alarm listing, universal language support, ATA PC memory card, screen security, and Multi-layer device configuration.

The 2711-T10G10 functions as a Human Machine Interface (HMI) that is used to display and visualize the logic program residing in the controller or devices. It displays the process mimic and allows operator interaction.

Process visualization is observed through the10.4-inch screen. The screen has a display area of 211 x 158 mm (8.3 x 6.2 in.) and VGA resolution of 640 x 480 pixels. The touchscreen interface is made of 384 cells arranged in 24 columns x 16 rows with each cell measuring 26 x 30 pixels.

The operator terminal has an integrated DeviceNet Communication & RS-232 Printer Port. These communication ports may be used to download and upload applications. DeviceNet is specifically used for connecting to partner devices via server explicit, client explicit, I/O or listen only messaging mode. It supports speed of 125k, 250k or 500k baud rate.

The RS232 printer interface is used to interface an alarm printer allowing printing of alarm lists and messages.

The 2711-T10G10 support custom designed graphics configured using the PanelBuilder32 software. The Panelbuilder32 software is a Microsoft Windows based application where the operator terminals runtime behavior, function and graphics are designed. The graphical interface provides a more user-friendly environment and simplifies application design and reduces development costs.VIIIVThe 2711-T10G10 electronic hardware is a Human Machine interface (HMI) made by Allen Bradley. This is PanelView Standard Operator Terminal that is rated 85 to 264 VAC and features a 10.4-inch display, embedded touch input area with built-in DeviceNet communication port and RS232 printer interface.
