The 2711-T10G15 is a PanelView Standard Operator terminal that functions as a Human Machine Interface (HMI) device. It enables real-time operator and machine or process interaction by displaying up-to-date process information and permitting operator actions through a designated input area.

The 2711-T10G15 is a PanelView 1000 hardware that features a 10.4-inches diagonal size screen with display area of 211 x 158 mm and VGA resolution of 640 x 480 pixels. The screen has an embedded Cold Cathode Fluorescent (CCF) Backlight with 4 shades of gray that has a rated half-life of 50,000 hours. The 2711-T10G15 has a touch interface that is made of 384 touch sensitive cells. The touchscreen is designed to be actuated up to 1 million actuations. An integrated ControlNet communication port enables communication with partner using an RG6 cable as the physical layer. The HMI hardware connects to the RG6 ControlNet trunk via ControlNet taps.
