Product Overview
The Allen-Bradley T5A2L1 is a PanelView 550 Touch activated Human Machine Interface (HMI) device used to provide real-time process interaction between the operator, machine or process. It belongs to the Bulletin 2711 PanelView Standard Operator Terminals.
Human Machine Interface (HMI) device improves process reaction time, control efficiency and minimize troubleshooting time. It may also be configured to secure important parameters and lock certain screen by implementation of terminal security.
The 2711-T5A2L1 communicates with partner devices through the integrated DH485 communication port. Compatible partner devices include Allen-Bradley PLCs such as PLC5, MicroLogix, SLC, with CompactLogix and ControlLogix through communication converters. It can be also partnered with 3rd party PLCs, protocol converters, gateways and 3rd party devices.
It also features a monochrome screen measuring 5.5-inches, allowing real-time monitoring and on the spot analysis of the system. The screen has a resolution of 256 X 128 pixels, ideal for small and simple graphic requirements. The integrated touch interface of the terminal is designed to last up to 1 million actuations.
This operator terminal supports configuration of advanced alarm handling, screen security, multi-project configuration and universal language as it is capable of up to 46 international languages.
