Product Overview
The Allen-Bradley 2711P-B15C4A1 is an electronic workstation provided for process operator and machine user to implement control system visualization and monitoring via the embedded colored display screen, analog resistive touchscreen and keypad input mechanism and integrated communication ports.
It belongs to the PanelView 1000 operator terminal that is designed with a 10.4-inch display, resolution of 640 x 480 pixels. It is recommended for use in small to medium sized process or stand-alone to a variety of integrated machines.
This hardware is fitted with communication ports for compatibility in communicating with ControlNet, Ethernet and RS232 protocols. It also has a combination of operator input interface, via the keypad or touchscreen. These input areas are enabled and may be used immediately. Both these input interfaces are designed to operate up to 1 million actuations.
This operator panel is installed by creating a panel cutout to an enclosure that is NEMA and IP rated. It may be located in outdoor using a IP54, IP65, NEMA enclosure or 4X for indoor use. Required panel cutout is 224 (8.8) (H) x 375 (14.75) (W).
PanelView Plus terminals have a common development software in FactoryTalk View Studio for Machine Edition. It is used primarily for creating and designing projects for Machine Edition Runtime use. It also features offline testing and debugging of animations, commands and links without the need of the actual hardware.
Applications, data Logging files, user manuals, reports, bitmap and other image format are saved to the internally allocated 32 MB flash memory. It also has runtime memory of 64 Random Access Memory. These memory modules are expandable with the use of CompactFlash and RAM modules.
