The Allen-Bradley 2711P-B10C4A1 is an electronic component that is used to enable control of process and machine. This product belong to the PanelView Plus 1000 terminal that is certified for Class I, Div 2 Group A, B, C, D, Class I, Zone 2, Group IIC, Class II, Div 2 Group F, G, Class III, Hazardous Locations and non-hazardous or ordinary locations.

This product is a Human Machine Interface (HMI) that may serve various types of application and industries. It provides Process visualization via the 10.4-inch screen with resolution of 1024 x 768 pixels. The visualization screen displays the process mimic where the operator observes the process and aids in fast decision making.

The HMI allows the operator to control the process through the embedded keypad and analog resistive touchscreen interface. Alternatively, the terminal supports attachment of external input devices through the dual USB port. Mouse and keyboard may be attached to serve as secondary input area.

Data from the process and control actions by the operator is received and sent via the communication ports that is integrated with the terminal. If planning to use in multi-node application, DH485 or Ethernet may be used. If used for point-to-point or within the panel communication, use the integrated RS232 port. These ports are also used for upload and downloading application developed with FactoryTalk View Studio for Machine Edition.

This operator terminal is powered by an input supply of 85 to 264VAC with an input frequency of 47 to 63 Hz. It has an integral memory of 32 MB Flash memory used to store application files, reports, images, logs and other file while the 64 MB Random Access Memory (RAM) is utilized during runtime.
