 Product Overview

The Allen-Bradley 2711P-B10C4D1 is an industrial component that is used for machine level visualization and control of process. This compact and scalable electronic hardware is capable of implementing Human Machine Interface (HMI) solution by integrating data of automation controllers installed in the field to access and manipulate user downloaded logic to control the process.

This HMI features a 10.4-inch colored graphic display, Keypad and Touch input capable of up to 1 million actuations, internal memory of 32 MB Flash Memory and 64 MB Random Access Memory. It is powered by a DC supply range of 18 to 30V dc with nominal value of 24VDC. It also has an Ethernet, DH485 and RS232 communication port.

This HMI is built with integrated configuration mode menu for out of the box configuration. It is used to configure internal and runtime parameter settings of the device and access to terminals settings suc has networks and communication, display settings, calibration, language support, date and time, node address, communication, runtime settings, file management and other settings.

Implement advanced alarm handling with the use of alarm pop-ups, active and historical alarms. Tag trending is also supported by this operator terminal wherein a higher number of tags may be displayed in charts and recorded for review and analysis purposes via the data logging feature. This HMI terminal is capable of implementing security locally or through a network using domain-based security.

Applications are configured and developed using the FactoryTalk View Studio for Machine Edition software. This software is the common configuration and graphic development software for the PanelView Plus products. Pre-designed templates such as alarm, trends and security templates and others are available in the software’s component library.
